Community Education
A variety of educational programs geared to help the community at large understand and appreciate the medical, social, economic and spiritual issues that hospice patients and their families must deal with. To arrange a program for your organization, please contact us.
In-services
Amara employees and caregivers are given in-house refresher courses and updates relating to care and treatment. They are acquainted with the most current approach in social and care methods, so that they can serve patients optimally.
Bereavement Services
In times of grief, Amara Hospice’s professionally trained grief counselors are available for comforting family and community members. They specialize in providing condolence and consolation to family members and close friends of the departed.
